Adolescents and Young Adults
Adolescence is a turbulent time at the best, stress levels rise as the young person with ASD may not have the resilience and the skills needed to cope with the changes and to keep up socially with peers.
Services are provided by a team of Psychologists and Senior Case Managers experienced in ASD and its areas of difficulty.
Differential Diagnosis
This is often sought by individuals who need to better understand themselves, or in order to access more appropriate support services.
Counselling
Individual counselling to meet life situations, to achieve self motivated change and assist social integration and personal relationships. A behavioural, CBT approach is usually used.
Skills
Habilitation skills, to prepare for fuller integration in residential and work place.
Consultancy
To residential and vocational units re the management of people with ASD.
