Holiday Drama Group

Big congratulations to ISADD’s first drama group participants! Psychologists Larni and Amanda ran a drama group over the summer break. Six children of varying ages met together over three days to work towards a play production of The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Aside from acting skills, the group aimed at encouraging social interaction, boosting confidence and working on language skills. Everyone worked hard to remember their lines, remain focused and quiet while on set and to encourage their fellow cast members. On the third day parents were invited to watch the play and were not disappointed. Everyone delivered their lines beautifully on opening day and all the hard work paid off.  Well done everyone.
